Chubby Organics Superfood NB&Js were designed for “on-the-go”, so straight from the refrigerator, but we’ve found that our customers have enjoyed them in array of different ways.
Some of our customers enjoy them at room temperature after taking them out of the fridge for a few minutes (allowing them to thaw) before indulging while others even put them in a toaster oven (or even a conventional toaster) before eating them. You can freeze them (up to 3 months) and eat them frozen (or thawed).

Our products are designed to be refrigerated, so the expiration date you see on the package is based on how long our products are good in the refrigerator. Because our products have no preservatives, they’ll last about 45 days in the refrigerator, about 7-10 days on shelf in a cool dry location, and about 3 months when frozen. We ship our products refrigerated so unless you plan to eat them within the first week upon receiving them, products should be stored in the refrigerator for best freshness and texture. We are not responsible for products that have fermented due to improper storage after arrival.
That’s simple, only natural sugars produced by the fruit we use in our jams, as well as a few Medjool Dates that we add to each batch.
Yes, when making our jams, we use mild heat in order to eliminate any pathogens and help extend our shelf life.

All of our orders are shipped using FedEX 2-day shipping or Ontrac depending on what state your order is being delivered too. All orders will be packaged and shipped from our commercial kitchen in Los Angeles when items are in stock. Our superfood sandwiches are made fresh every week so they’re fresh when delivered. If for some reason there is a backorder for anything more than 7 days, you will be notified when your products are to be shipped.
We offer flat rate shipping of $8 per order. To ensure your shipment stays cool, we add ice packs to each box which ultimately adds additional weight and costs to each shipment. Full transparency, each box of 8 that we ship costs us anywhere from $6.50 - $15, which is why we ask for you to pay $8. Thanks for understanding!

Unfortunately we are not able to ship to APO/FPO addresses because we have no way to track the package once it gets to the APO/FPO and we need to be able to track all packages to each customer in order to provide the highest level of customer service. It’s best to check your email that you used to purchase in order to access your tracking info from FedEx or Ontrac. If you are not satisfied with the products, we will be glad to refund you your money on the unopened product minus the shipping cost within 30 days of purchase. Sale items are non-refundable. First, don’t worry! If your Chubby Organics Sandwiches arrived warm, they are still completely safe to eat. Chubby Organics are meant to be refrigerated to help maintain the best taste, texture, and shelf life. Second, just put them in the fridge again, then they'll be good to go!
Can’t find your package? Please take a look at any notes your carrier may have made in your tracking history (i.e. Left at Front Door). If you’re still unable to locate the package, please contact Ontrac (1-800-334-5000) or FedEx (1-800-463-3339), depending on who your carrier is. If your shipping address is in an apartment complex or office building, we’d recommend checking in with your neighbors, front desk attendant, land lord, and/or mail room.
Often times packages will turn up 24-48 hours after being reported missing, so if after 48 hours your package still hasn’t turned up, please reach out to us.
